Effective September 2026

The short version: TapDash is a display and control kit for Haltech Elite and Nexus ECUs. You pay when you pre-order, we ship in 4 to 8 weeks, and you're covered by our cancellation policy and 90-day money-back guarantee. Use it safely and keep your eyes on the road.

Who we are

TapDash is made and sold by L & R Property 1 LLC, a small business in Oklahoma run by car enthusiasts. TapDash is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Haltech, BTI or any other company named on this site. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

What you're buying

A TapDash kit includes a pre-wired bridge that plugs into your Haltech ECU's CAN port, a 6-inch Android display loaded with the TapDash app, a dash mount, a protective case, a USB-C charger with a 10-foot cable, a sun visor, and install instructions.

Compatibility

TapDash works with Haltech Elite and Nexus ECUs. The gauges work out of the box. The on-screen switches and dials only control functions that have already been set up in your Haltech's own software, by you or your tuner. TapDash does not change your ECU's configuration.

Pre-orders, pricing and shipping

  • Your card is charged when you place your pre-order.
  • Pre-orders ship in 4 to 8 weeks, in the order they were placed. If that changes, see our refund policy.
  • Shipping is free within the United States. We don't ship outside the US yet.
  • Sales tax is added where the law requires it.
  • The $299 pre-order price applies to the first batch only.

Safe and legal use

You're responsible for using TapDash safely and legally. Don't let the display distract you from driving, and only change settings or use the switches when it's safe to do so. You're responsible for how your ECU is set up and for any function you choose to control with TapDash, including making sure it's legal where you drive.

Software updates

We may update the TapDash app and bridge to fix issues and add features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to TapDash is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, including damage to your vehicle, engine or ECU from how the car is set up, tuned or driven.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you placed your order applies to that order.
